Pain in the Neck
It's been a really long weekend. For the last 2 weeks, so basically after my 2 competitions my right shoulder and elbow have been killing me, probably because i lift so damn much it's inevitable. Over the weekend it was getting worse, so i decided to seek out a massage therapist or as connery would say on SNL (the rapist) tee hee. So i broke down and went, it was becoming painful just to fasten my seatbelt leat alone bench, squat, and deadlift. Thankful to say that after the deep tissue i'm bruised but feeling much better.
An interesting note is that i could acutlly feel the muscles and tendons releasing and felt immediatly better. The day after i'm apprehensive, waiting for it to hurt like it did before, but so far it feels great. So i'm icing down and taking 72 hours for a full heal and we'll go from there. At least i can sleep better now, i could actually lay on that side last night.
Had my PDP update last week. PDP = Professional Development Plan at work. Basically it's like a progress report on the year. As with the last one perfect which makes me very happy. I bust my ass in the office and it's good to see it pay off.
I've been doing some research on RSS 2.0 and developement lately. Pretty neato stuff. I'm also going to be working with one of my co-workers on a really neat new extranet. We're going to be utilizing asp.net 2.0 and the 2.0 framework in visual studio 2005. From the drawings and boards i've created it's going to be something new, different, and what no one else has seen in extranet technology. Gonna be fun to work with.
In addition i've been looking at the new AJAX and ATLUS technologies coming out with the 2.0 framework. Looks to be VERY VERY interesting, especially the things i've seen with pulling information from google and databases. EXTREMELY fast.
Good Fight... Good Night
