Gentlemen Start Your Wallets
Yes it's that time of year again.... time to run up credit card bills... try to impress people with the outrageously priced gifts you buy them. As most of you know i'm not to hot on any holiday... and around this time of year it makes me even more sick.
Especially in this mix is all the commercials about damn near everything.... number one on my shit list is jewerly commercials. 'Every Kiss Begins With Kay' 'Tell her how much you really love her' 'Diamonds are forever'... you know what.... that is the biggest bunch of bullshit i have ever heard. Using someones guilt to buy someone something they can't afford. This whole society is built around this thought... that a person is only worth as much as the material you buy them. You know what .... if you purchase your loved one a diamond or some other jewerly this holiday season... make sure you read something like this and you'll see just how hard a slave had to work to get you that rock. Just something to think about.
Out of town traffic... i know you have to come to town to buy stuff... i understand that... but at least take a drivers education course before you do so... there were a couple of times over the past week that someone rushing to buy gifts damn near killed me. Oh.. and to the little pecker who about ran me over at Arby's today... i hope you got to where you needed to go 5 seconds faster... jag...
Next up... on my weekend shit list is .... Religion ... read this. The issue of embryonic stem cell research has reached Missouri's Catholic churches. Sunday, parishioners were told not to support this kind of medical research.
Rev. Thomas Keller of the Cathedral Basilica of Saint Louis said, "The destruction of human life, even in it's embryonic form, is something that is evil that we don't want to participate in. We want to educate our folks that there's more to the story than simply saying this is a type of research on human cells."
I love religion!!!! It's EVIL!!!... how is research that could cure so many diseases and afflictions evil? Please tell me? Maybe i can pull a Pat Robertson here... he prays because some town votes out board members that support the myth "Intelligent Design" saying GOD has left their town. ok... lemme pray here.... oh Crum... please allow Thomas Keller to be hit by a car and the only solution to restore his spine would be stem cell therapy.... and by the way Crum.... use thy giant sword to banish the evil robertson to the pits of hades....
i read alot of news... more than your average adult who just believes what they her by ear or a five minute synopsis on tv.... i love our drive through society...

You are a sad individual. Destroying life to heal someone makes no sense. There is plenty of research using stem cells that do not end a life. Do your research. Shame on you for wishing harm to someone. Fr. Keller is a peaceful man who is trying to educate.
