Scroll & Scroll &
Quill was established in 1978 to provide office
support services to small firms, solo practitioners,
and other individuals.
When we first started,
we set out to become one-stop providers of office
support services to the downtown Los Angeles
business community. Our services list included
typing, resumes, typesetting, design and printing
services, office supplies, mailing services,
ghostwriting, and photocopies. Once we even designed
and produced party invitations on flour tortillas!
Back then, there was no
Internet and no e-mail. Electronic typing equipment
was just peeking over the horizon and there was no
category in the Yellow Pages for word processing. By
the mid-80's, however, Scroll & Quill had acquired a
fax machine, electronic typing equipment and offered
phone-in dictation to our clients. And...we got our
first PC. Well ahead of the times, we envision even
then, 24-hour operation and availability to
accommodate clients in every time zone.
While our scope and
physical location have changed somewhat, today,
aided by the internet, Scroll & Quill offers
"Cyber-solutions" to those individuals who have
neither the time, expertise, nor the inclination to
"do-it-yourself."
For those times when a
secretary can't work late, the word processing
department is backlogged, and even for planned or
seasonal work increases, or if you work from home
and need support, Scroll & Quill can fill the bill.
Our work begins usually
after normal business hours and your completed work
product is delivered to you online or by disk and/or
hard copy through local couriers and/or overnight
mail vendors.
We work nights,
weekends, and holidays. There are no overtime fees,
rush charges or shift differential surcharges
because all production is performed by our network
of home-based operators. As a result of minimal
overhead costs, we are able to provide fast,
reliable, premier-quality service at rates that are
considerably lower than what most other commercial
service providers must charge.
