See below for the newly added MP-3Ring Tones
A little freeware and shareware I have collected and use on a regular basis. Just use your browsers' back button after viewing the screenshots, to return to this page.
DosBlueScreen.exe This is a batch file I did write to create a white text on blue screen MS-DOS windows in Windows. Here is a screenshot to see what it looks like. It is in a self extracting zip file. Just download it and double click to expand. The DosBlueScreen.txt file explains how to install. This works fine in Win95, Win98 and WinME. It's not necessary in WinXP since you can customize the command prompt by right clicking the title bar, selecting properties and changing the colors from there. I haven't tested it in WinXP since there was no reason to do so.
PSK3212.zip This is a program to save all your passwords. It's a freeware program written by Brad Greenlee and definitely comes in handy with all the different websites requiring logins or passwords. A screenshot shows the main window.
Stripmail.zip Do you get jokes or text messages forwarded from friends, that have been forwarded six or seven times before, and each line now starts with >>>>>>>> ? Well this freeware program will remove it. You can then copy to your clipboard and paste into your word processor to save. This is a compressed executable. there is no install. You can download it, unzip it into a folder you create, then create a shortcut in that folder and then cut it and afterwards, paste it on your desktop or where ever you want it on your start menu. Here are before and after screenshots.
MSConfig This is msconfig for Win2000. For whatever reason Microsoft did see fit to leave this out of Win2000, but the files for WinXP will work in Win2000. Unzip the files and view the ReadMe text. It will instruct you to place the files in the C:\Winnt\system32 folder. You can then run the program from the run box by typing msconfig and pressing enter or create a shortcut to msconfig.exe and place it wherever you want on your start menu or desktop.

I have a V710 Motorola cell phone that Verizon did see fit to disable or cripple several features like Bluetooth and the ability to download your own ring tones for it. There are of course several workarounds as well as some firmware updates by others that re-enable the Bluetooth and ability to transfer whatever you want into your phone. Several of the newer phones support .MP3 files for use as ring tones. The files listed below are some that I created with my acoustic guitar and a few sound effects. I'll add more as I get the time. The quality isn't what I would like it to be, but I am too many years out of practice, so be patient.
