Search
engines are not created equal Google is definitely my
search engine of choice. There is none that loads or returns results faster. You
can use the search box above and perform a search from here. Just use your
browser's back button to return here. All
search engines do search differently and the results do vary from one to the
other, but when I'm in a hurry, Google can't be beat. Prior to using Google, I
used to prefer Hotbot, which still is the ugliest, but one of the
easiest to use for me.

If you liked the caricature of me on
my "Welcome" or "Home" page, it was drawn by Beth Owens. Click on the
button to visit her page. You can send her an email from her page. She will
respond with her current rates and inform you as to what she requires in the way
of a picture. After that, you're only limited by your imagination.

Goggle is a simple word game based on the popular Boggle. Your task is to find as many words as you can in a grid of 16 letters, clicking the letters one at a time to form complete words and pressing the Add Word button (or the Enter key). Words must consist of three or more letters. Each letter-tile in the grid may only be used once per word, and you must always move from one grid-letter to one of its neighbors, either vertically, horizontally or diagonally.
Goggle keeps a running tally of how many words you have left to find. There are many different games, and clicking the New Game button will start a different one. If you can't find all the words in a game, you can click on Quit Game first to see a complete list of the possible words.
To start playing Goggle, click the link below. Goggle will open in a new perfectly-sized window.

All of the images I have posted on this site were optimized with WebGraphics Optimzer 4.2. What is "optimized"? The process removes 50-80% of the digital information, which result in faster loading graphic files. For web content it's fine since you can't see all the information that's missing, but if you download or save any of the pictures I have posted and then print, you will definitely notice the poor quality. If for any reason, you would want a copy of any of the pictures I have posted, email me and I will send you the "un-optimized" version.

Some web cameras from San Luis Obispo County SLO Cam.com
I did finally get a network camera that is on all the time. It's an
Axis
205 wireless camera with a built in server, meaning that my
PC doesn't have
to be on for it to broadcast the video. The picture isn't as sharp as I had
hoped, and in low light, it gets worse, but otherwise, still works as
advertised. Clicking the picture will open a new window to enable you to view
the video stream.
The video has a two minute timer on it for bandwidth reasons.
After two minutes it will still display, but the video freezes.
