I'm Lisa Naert and I'm the primary guardian of my wonderful breeds in my home. We are a small home based kennel in Michigan. Our dogs are shown in AKC and UKC. In 2003, I got my first Papillon, Samson, as a pet but fell in love with the breed and decide to show and possibly breed. I've had 3 litters with my girl Evie, but since my dogs are my family, I decided to not just place my dogs so I could keep breeding. So my Papillon breeding is now limited and may be on hold for many years.

In 2008, I wanted a large dog to keep me company too. I found the Berger Picard when reading a dog description website and fell in love with the scruffy look and temperment that reminds me of my Papillons. I now have Darby of Double D Ranch that I co-own with her breeder Dee Donohue. We hope to have a Picard litter yet in early 2011.
