HB 448, implementing a reasonableness standard for individualized education plans. INEXPEDIENT TO
LEGISLATE
Rep. Bruce L. Dearborn for Education: The committee did not feel this
bill would enhance enforcement of the Individual Education Plan (IEP)
process required by the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act.
The bill would also add additional paper work to an already paper
work intensive program, without meeting the desired outcome.
