AN ACT relative to procedures
for certain court ordered out-of-district placements.
Be
it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court
convened:
1 New Subparagraph; Special
Education; Liability for Educationally Disabled Children in Certain Court
Ordered Placements. Amend RSA 186-C:19-b, I by inserting after subparagraph (b)
the following new subparagraph:
(c) Prior to ordering any
out-of-district placement under this section, the court shall review all
information provided by a school district’s special education teachers and
educational specialists relevant to the case under consideration.
2 Effective Date. This act
shall take effect 60 days after its passage.
