The House Education Committee has formed a subcommittee, chaired by Representative Stiles, to study and rewrite the special education laws in NH. The House Education Chairman, Representative L'Heureux, asked for a homeschooler to serve on the committee, and Suzanne Lavalla will be attending the meetings. This is very important, as homeschoolers often find out about legislation that affects them when it has already nearly become law; this will give homeschoolers a chance to influence that legislation early on in the process.
