The home education law (RSA 193:A) and rules (Ed315) define the rights and obligations of parents who choose home education as an alternative to compulsory attendance at a public school. They are part of a system of laws and regulations that interact. Changes to those other entities can affect home education programs indirectly.
In 2008, the legislature created the Commission to Study New Hampshire's Home Education Statutes. The committee report has not yet been filed.
