After devotions and breakfast, we begin
to unpack our equipment and gear.
Compressed scuba air is an ideal medium
for powering dental equipment. Because Belize is home of the second longest
reef in the world, diving is a popular sport. This has provided us with a
readily available source of compressd air tanks. The local air filling
companies have been quite generous in giving us all of the air we need free of
charge for the entire week.

Today begins to set the standard
for the rest of the week. Sunday morning we begin our week of devotions.
The devotion takes place at
the end of a long pier that reaches out into the ocean. The pier is a very
inspiring place to be both for devotion as a group and for personal time. It is
so peaceful to be at the end of the pier as the sun is coming up over the
horizon.

Our dental units are set up in order
to make sure they are all working properly. The dental units are equipped with
high and low-speed hand pieces, high-speed suction, and a 3-way water
syringe.
