The education program has four major divisions, and each of thye four is further divided to accomodate the varying abilities of the students. During the PRESCHOOL years (Nursery - 5 yrs) students are taught Bible stories in a manner equivalent to three trips through the Bible. each story teaches a lesson about everyday behavior and attitude. Each student will also study through the Bible three times during the PRIMARY grades (1st-6th). JUNIOR & SENIOR HIGH students study selected topics in separate classes appropriate for the differing ages and interests. There are two ADULT classes to choose from which study selected topics and/or Biblical text.
In addition to the regular classes on Sunday morning and wednesday night, Bethel has a Timothy class to train young men in leadership ability and a Dorcas class to help young women grow into their future roles in the church. A "Little Leaders" class on Sunday night provides extra opportunity for the very young to grow. Additional temporary classes are conducted as the need or opportunity arises.
There are more than 30 teachers working on a rotating basis at Bethel. This rotation schedule allows teachers to remain fresh and interested in their class. This dedicated and hard-working group of people, the teachers, is the heart of the program. They are determined to provide each student with an enjoyable learning experience.
