FXR

1982 Harley Davidson Super Glide II FXR

FXRs have long been an infatuation of mine. It was the first post-AMF design, and in a few years it would sport the new Evo motor and a belt drive. But in '82 it was an 81" shovelhead with a chain. Eric Buell helped design it. It's the best handling bike Harley ever made. God rides an FXR.

I'm her third owner. She had 13.5k miles on her but needed some love when I found her. I've made the necessary repairs and am looking to make her my own. I put a pair of standard Sporty bars on short pullback risers to replace those mini-apes. I installed an R&B LSR 2=>1 exhaust system and a K&N air filter, and had her dyno-tuned at Al's American Iron.
