Bob was a fine gentleman. At least the one I knew was. A guy who best epitomized the spirit of r.m.h. He often welcomed folks he had only met online like old friends. He was an excellent host, a great ride leader, and a wonderful story-teller. At the end of my recent visit, he showed me a route across Tennessee to ensure I hade an unforgettable ride home.

He seemed in excellent spirits then ... But the human spirit can be a fragile thing - even in the strongest of us. In the end, his demons got to him and he took his life.

Not knowing the nature of his demons, nor having walked in his moccasins, I can only honor his memory, forgive him his transgressions and support the friends and family who are hurting. Our prayers are with Willa, Kayla, Grayson, the rest of his family and all of you who knew and loved him.
