MAMMARY 04:

Got a bottle of Islay single malt Bear introduced me to, take a pull off it if you like.

What a great time! Big thank yous to our hosts for opening their wonderful place to us, and for providing for our food and drink needs so well! Sorry I missed the Lincoln Memorial IRL. By the time the lovely Mary and I made the designated Rolling Thunder run, wormed our way back to a parking place on the mall, and walked back to the memorial, it was after four ...

Highlights of a great weekend (Thanks for the MAMMARYs?)

Roach making a special trip to buy a ukulele (complete with custom gig bag) and singing "Tiptoe Thru the Tulips"

I AM THE GOD OF HELL FIRE!

Maddy, Laurel and Roach singing an inspired version of "Those Were the Days" complete with Maddy's special vocal effects!

Banker Bob revealing himself to be the Bastaad he is! Bear introducing us to yet another Islay single malt.

The girls polishing off a bottle of Jeremiah Weedin a way that made me wish I was ol' Jeremiah!

An outstanding steak dinner. (BTW, for those inquiring minds "I am the God of Hell Fire" was Arthur Brown's intro to his album "Fire")

Slipping into the Harley of Washington pack with RE and Rick Anderson, enroute to the Pentagon and Rolling Thunder with the consent of the boys in blue.

The little kid on the miniature "Capt America" chopper waving at us from one of the on ramps.

Riding down Constitution Ave w/ folks on the sidelines cheering, waving, and giving high fives. Riding past the old Marine in his impeccable dress uniform, standing in the middle of the road saluting us as we rode past! Couldn't have been a dry eye in the pack!

But, most of all, seeing old friends, putting real faces to virtual ones, and meeting new folk. Hope to do it again real soon!
