Christmas Edition

Last year was our first year for computer controlled Christmas lights and it turned out great. It was a bit expensive to get started but with being able to donate the funds to Echo, I think it was worth it. We raised almost $1000.00 and gave it all to Echo which is a non-profit organization here in Janesville that provides food, shelter and utility bill help to people that need it. Notice I didn't say to the poor or homeless as they ask no questions. You go in there and ask for help and they do what they can. This year's light show should be even better as we added another controller and have a HUGE stockpile of lights. We also made some dimmer adapters for our controllers that allow us to dim the lights instead of just off or on. I think it will turn out great! Below are a couple pictures of last years lights and a couple of our stockpile. I would love to load up some videos but there isn't enough room on this site. Enjoy.

The maple tree streamers.

The Santa picture my daughter Vanessa painted for the show!

The blue ice lights behind a partially red lit mega tree.

The 20' tall mega tree lit in blue.

Almost all of the 16,000 lights on!

The home built controllers that run the show!

Here is the stash for the 2008 show, almost 50,000 lights! Plans right now use almost all of them!
