Group Agreements

MADE's goal is to provide a safe space that encourages a positive attitude and self-acceptance about AB/DL desires by facilitating real-life informational and social gatherings. To further this goal, as a group, we choose to abide by these Agreements:

Who you see here and what they say here, when you leave here, let it stay here.
Treat others with the same respect you would wish to be granted to you.
No one is required to speak or share; the fact that you showed up is enough.
Knowing we are “different”, difference of opinion is not just allowed but encouraged.
Because one ultimately resolves their own issues, give advice only when asked.
Honesty, authenticity, this is what people hunger for. If it can’t be here, then where?
Because of how we may be viewed by the public, let us not put each other down.
While the meeting is in session yield to the duck, but no hogging the duck either.
Illegal drug use is contrary to well being and will not be tolerated in any form.
As a courtesy, please take your cell-phone conversations outside the meeting.
Alcohol use is not essential for enjoying our events, and therefore discouraged.
Remember our goal and have FUN.
