La Leche League is the world's foremost authority on breastfeeding. Our mission is to help mothers worldwide to breastfeed through mother-to-mother support, encouragement, information, and education. We want to promote better understanding of breastfeeding as an important element in the healthy development of the baby and mother.

  La Leche League is a non-profit and non-sectarian organization and is now celebrating its 50th year. Today volunteer LLL Leaders reach over 300,000 women in 63 countries every month.

  Meetings are free and open to any interested women; babies and expectant women are welcome (men are welcome at special meetings only). Bring questions on any aspect of breastfeeding. No fee is charged for attending meetings. Begin attending any meeting and attend as many as you like.

  Membership is $40 a year and entitles you to unlimited meetings, our library, and LLL's bi-monthly journal, New Beginnings.

  We encourage socializing before and after meetings. Meetings generally last 1 to 2 hours.
