Streams of fast moving icy cold water are visible from almost everywhere along the road. 

They are more visible from a bike or a walk than when driving but even in a car you feel the water is following you along your route.

I stopped along Rt. 302 at the Whiley House to take this image of the white birch reflecting on the pond. (Left)

The Pemigewasset River was one of the most visible along my bicycling routes.
