Links to pictures and work Ideas that have been done to the car over the last 16 years. I have owned this 1965 (1964) TR4 since 1986. I purchased it while I was in college and drove it all over New England for 3 years as my only transportation. Since that time many repairs (scheduled and unscheduled) and enhancements have been performed. Along with the descriptions are several pictures of the work. email be with questions tboggiano@charter.net

Winter 2006

Well the winter started late in NE so the car was out on the road thought December, The only real task for this winter is to change the gasket on the differential housing.

Spring 2006

It was a bad spring: Heard a bang from the rear end, Finished the drive home, Parked the car in the drive way and it would not move an inch from that spot..... Differential toast. bought a replacement and replaced the entire rear end of the car over a weekend to enjoy the nice weather leaks diff fluid which i will take care of later in the year

Winter 2002-2003

The main goal this winter is to get the car back into the every day driving routine I use to use it for. I started simple

1.       OD unit

·         Installed, Finish attaching to rear mounts and speedo cable

2.       Wiper motor

3.       Wheel bearings

4.       Brake master cylinder rebuild and pipes

5.   Exhaust stainless steel

Winter of 2003-2004

Maintenance currently underway

1)      Convert to positive ground

Remember to convert the heater wires if you want heat in the cold weather

2)      Oil pan gasket (used the silicon gasket from Justin Wagner http://jmwagnersales.com )

3)       Speedo repair/calibration

4)       Valve cover gasket (used the silicon gasket from Justin Wagner see item2)

5)       Carburetor rebuild

6)       Engine mount the old ones are shot

7)      New hoses

8)      Summer temperature thermostat

9)    Shocks, Bushing, Springs ( the old ones came off and are 2 different sizes, 2 different springs)

10) General frame cleaning and painting

I am not one who spends much time cleaning the car but this winter I decided that I would get the grime off the bottom of the car, as I took it off it ALL went into a plastic bag that weighed 12 pounds, Ok maybe I should have done it before now.
