Bourg Engine 1
Bourg Engine 1 was manufactured in the year 2000. Built on a conventional Freight Liner®
chassis and engineered by Ferrara®, Engine 1 houses a 1,500 g.p.m. Darley® Single-Stage
centrifugal pump and carries 500 gallons of water in its onboard poly tank. Bourg Engine 1
also carries 1,200 feet of four inch diameter rubber coated L.D.H. (Large Diameter Hose)
on its rear-mounted hose tending reel along with the equipment and tools necessary for
Fire Suppression, Water Drafting Operations, Vehicle Extrication,
Rescue, and Emergency Medical Services.
