I am 53 years old and have been married for 32 years to my wife, Jeannette, whom I met in high school. We have no children -- just two dogs and a cat. My background is in medical laboratory science, graduating from Southern Colorado State College in 1968 with a Bachelor's Degree in Medical Technology followed by registration with the American Society of Clinical Pathologists. I was a general technologist for three years, then Chief Technologist/Laboratory Manager for 15 years before resigning to go into business with my wife. For the past 13 years we have operated a medical transcription service counting a large outpatient radiology group, three orthopedic surgeons and a physiatrist group (pain management specialist) in our clients.

I have been bowling competitvely for 35 years, and have five sanctioned 300 games, one sanctioned 800 series (816), and other honor score awards. I bowl the High Roller events and International Eliminator in Las Vegas each year, and senior tournaments, as well as enjoying competition at ABC Nationals for the past 16 years.

Additionally, for the past year and for the foreseeable future, I serve as an Editorial Associate for Briggs Consulting, providing proofing/editing services to Dr. Briggs for his doctoral thesis and correspondence, as well as proofing/editing his articles for Bowling This Month, and other written materials.
