This is the beginning of the Turtle Deck. This form will be taken off and flipped over. We'll put some foam inside and fiberglass it. It will then be taken out of the form and fitted to the back of the plane. I've added a few inches to the original height (That's one of the benefits of a composite plans built design). We'll epoxy it to the fuselage and then glass the outside.

With the inside glassed.

Here's where it will go once I get the inside finished.

Looking inside once the turtle deck was bonded on. You can see the seat belt
mounting points in the corners covered with many layers of glass. The copper strip
along the inside top is a marker antenna, may not need it but it will be there if I do.

Finished Glassing the Roll Bar. I'm trying to remove some of the gray paint along the sides.
Then I'll glass the outside with two layers of BID and bring it down onto the roll bar and sides.
I'll also be adding a strake to the horizontal and vertical stabilizers.
