We are one of those couples who met online. Seriously! I was finishing up my teaching degree and had two small boys from a previous marriage. A friend and I used to send each other these really goofy personal ads we found online, and she sent me one that sounded, well... sweet! After a while, she talked me into responding to it.  Mike returned my email almost immediately, and we ended up chatting back and forth online. I was afraid to meet him in person.  I had heard so many horror stories about online relationships gone wrong, and I wasn't ready for that.  But a few months later I finally agreed to meet him for dinner, and I knew right away that he was great!

This picture was taken a couple days before he proposed.  We married a year later, then Olivia was born, and then we moved to Spencer. And we live happily ever after!
