Links to the Newest Available Versions of Your Windows-Based Programs

These links do not connect to the downloadable file itself, but to the page on the developer's site wherefrom you can click the most immediate link to begin downloading the file. Software I choose to include here does not pertain to any programming of my own, but some of it may very well reflect my biases for certain programs over others. If you strongly feel that a program you are aware of is useful enough for me to follow and update as strenuously as I do these programs, then e-mail me and make the subject Software Updates Suggestion.

By following these links, you will be redirected to the website of the business responsible for or the download management of that program, should they be separate. If you want the website to open in a new window, then hold Shift while you click on its link.

Some of these businesses release beta versions that explore new programming concepts within their software. Because these concepts are still in production, the programs themselves might have bugs. However, since I value the exploration of new ideas, I always post pages that lead to the newest versions of programs, including betas, when they are newest version available. Those of you who feel more secure with the stable official-release versions of these wares, follow the link to the website and check to be sure it is the official release.

Though many of these programs are also written for Macintosh systems, you will find not any direct links to Macintosh software here, because I do not support that system nor will I pander this page to the needs of Mac users. However, if you are a Mac user, then don't feel too ashamed; while Macs do suck, I am a strong advocate of the backdoor approach to downloading, so you should find that most of these links lead you only a brief trail away from pages where Macintosh versions can be accessed.
