When is enough enough?

When he hasn't called

In a week and two days

Do you yell

When he greets you with

"Hey Gorgeous

I missed you

More than a flower could miss the sun"

And holds you tightly to him

And kisses you

With his hands in your hair?

How are you supposed to tell him

When you can't bear to let go

Of his hand

That it hurts you

To see him looking at someone else?

Do you slap him

When he breaks a promise

But tells you he can't do it

With a kiss and a rose?

Do you dump him

For always forgetting

Your Birthday

When he always makes it up

With fois gras at Chez Panisse?

Or do you just love him

And keep him close to you

Because enough is never enough
