Let me stay hidden,

I do not want to see.

In my charade

of normalcy,

the evils leave me be.

Release would be worse.

Safety is my prison.

Real life

would be a curse.

The pain outside my window

is the only thing I own.

I tried so hard to do right,

is this what I've sown?

They chip away my armor,

they think they want to know.

If they wish to open

pandora's box

let them be shocked by my candor.
