Myself

By Kati Frazier

I cannot be myself until

I have all my peices.

I cannot be myself until

I know who that is.

A great mystery

is unfolding

before my very eyes.

I wonder,

and I ponder

to see through

my own disguise.

Lain before me,

peices

crumbs of

what I once was.

Years ago,

things I tried to forget.

Times of joy

and woe.

The mystery

is unfolding

before me as I see

that all the things

the puzzle peices

parts of me

that stung and burned

somehow

no longer fit.
