Reviewing something like American Society seems to be a bit counterproductive. It's not like you can choose not to see Americans, sort of like you can choose not to see Moulin Rouge. (I wish I had made that choice) However, perhaps there is something that can be done to save society. God knows there's nothing that could have been done to save Moulin Rouge.

I can't possibly get to all of my complaints about American society into one quick, humorous paragraph. To hear most of what I have to say, go read my Political and Philosophical Pages. Those are gonna be a lot more serious, though, and since more Americans know where the Island in the last Survivor TV show is than Iraq, I figure humor might appeal to that demographic a bit more. So, first off, I'd like to complain about that previous statement. According to the Internet, which never lies, more Americans aged 18-24 know where the last Survivor Island is than that country which has all "Those Bad Guy Terrorism People". It doesn't matter that Sadaam has nothing to do with Bin Laden. It doesn't matter that pointing to Antarctica on a map and saying 'Bomb Iraq!' kills millions of innocent penguins daily. Why do we hate Sadaam anyway? I think some of it is subliminal. Try spelling it in MS Word, the most used Word Processor in the world. What comes up as the 'correct spelling'? Sadism. I don't think that's a coincidence.

Only Americans would...

- Elect a President who looks like he was regected from 'Hee-Haw - the College Years'

- Drive SUVs that give less miles per gallon than army tanks, then use those tanks to blow up some people so they don't have to pay too much for gas.

- Blame television and video games on 'problem children' who were plopped in front of them instead of getting to spend time with their parents.

- Not know where America is on a map (20% of Americans can't find it!)

...This is kinda sad.

D+ For Effort, but I haven't figured out whose effort it is. Not Americans, presumably.
