The Nashua Mineral Society meets on the last Wednesday of the month at 7 pm at the Nashua Public Library, 2 Court St., Nashua NH 03060 (directions). Meetings are held during the following months: January, February, March, April, May, June, August, September and October. Meetings begin with a half hour pre-program social gathering and discussion. Many members bring specimens from recent mineral “finds” and display them on our “Members Table” prior to the meeting. This is an excellent opportunity for members to learn of mineral sites that are currently producing specimens and plan field trips to augment their collections. Following a brief formal meeting, a monthly program typically features a speaker or slide presentation on some aspect of the mineral or lapidary arts hobbies.
Next Meeting Our next meeting is on Wednesday, October 28, 2009 at 7 pm. Program Gold Panning Member's Table none
