Trips
We are always taking
off places, so I really don't know where to begin with this page. We
usually take off in our RV and enjoy the Pacific Northwest where there is
always someplace beautiful to go.
We spend a lot of time along the coast in the summertime to escape the
heat so RVing is the only logical way to do this. We load up the cats
and off we go. They have been little gypsies since they were little, so
they enjoy the trip. We have also leash trained them as an added
measure of security, however I have to admit, they are much better at
leading than they are of following. You can see the picture of our
fifth wheel at the top of the page, but if you want to see some more
pictures just click on the little trailer picture below.

This summer our trips started out in June with a lovely trip up to the
Columbia Gorge to see the waterfalls and for Peter to get a chance to play
some disc golf courses he had not played before. We stayed at this
neat little RV park in Corbett, Oregon, and thoroughly enjoyed our time up
there! Again, I have lots of pictures that you can look at if you
wish. So click on the little waterfall, and enjoy!

In July, we just wanted to relax at the coast for a couple
of weeks, so we went to Crescent City, CA. The weather was absolutely
perfect! In fact it probably was the nicest we have ever had there!
Total shorts and tee-shirt weather with temps in the daytime sitting in the
70's. WOW -- sure beat the 90's to 100's that were at home!

Next, August found us along the Oregon coast again for two
weeks. We went to a couple of festivals and a terrific car show in
Winchester Bay, Oregon. Kool August Nights always has a nice turn out,
and again, we had mid-70's temperatures and no wind. Dang! Why
on earth am I not living where the temperatures in the summer are so lovely!
Click on the little car to see some of the beautiful cars that were there.

Well we did manage to take off again for
a few days. We went up to Eugene and had good time at the
Celebration of Eugene which took place the first weekend of October.
I took a few pictures (not too many) but you can go take a look if you like.

So that is probably the end of the
traveling for 2005, but I thought I would like to share some of beautiful
fall colors. You don't always have to travel far to find beauty -
generally it is in your own back yard!

Where will we go next? Stay tuned to find out.
But whatever we do, wherever we go, I'm sure we'll have fun!!! Oh, and
if you have enjoyed looking at some of my pictures, be sure to go check out
my prints on DPC Prints. I have some of my best ones for sale there!
