Wild Turkey Hunts Cory Catlin: Owner/Guide
|
|
| The spring season runs for approximately six weeks. Applications for the spring hunt are due in the mail by December 10th. The season starts around the second Wednesday of April, and ends around the 25th of May. The season is split up into 6 sub-seasons. The seasons start on a Wednesday, and end on a Sunday. Each day the season opens one half hour before sunrise, and ends at 5:00 p.m. There is no hunting on Monday, or Tuesday. You can check my calendar to see what openings are available. You can also e-mail me to get exact dates, and times, of all hunts, and seasons. Tags are drawn in January and hunters are notified by mail the last week in January, first week in February. In the spring you are allowed to harvest one bearded turkey. Either male, or female. Yes, hens also can have beards. No hunt is guaranteed to be successful, but my sucess rates speak for themselves. All hunts are on a fair chase basis. References are available. Your hunting enjoyment is my number one concern. I only take out 6 clients a season so that I can totally concentrate on each individual hunt. A Deposit is required to reserve a hunt in advance. Deposit $100. Reservations are on a first come, first serve basis. Refunds are given with at least two weeks prior notice. All hunts are 2 Day minimums. Hunts are conducted on Wednesday and Thursday, and Saturday and Sunday only. There are no hunts on Fridays. A signed Liability Release form must also be on file prior to the hunt. Liability and Deposit are due by April 1st . No Hunting on Mother's Day. Prices include transportation, decoys, one-on-one guided hunt on both private, and public lands, and field dressing. It does not include food, or lodging.
