These are the basic laws known to all that the Keeper of Elysium upholds.

All are welcome; all are safe - This law means that in a true Elysium, all are welcome, regardless of sect. While some true Elysium’s exist, they are more and more rare.  Elysium’s have become a thing of the Camarilla, and are often associated with a specific Prince's court.  While unacknowledged Kindred may freely show up, and request acknowledgement, those who continually attend gatherings unacknowledged may find their unlife coming to an end.

No violence - One might assume a welcome banner implies safety.  To make it explicitly clear, it is once again stated that violence is not permitted. Kindred understand they are a society of predators. Allowing violence at their gatherings would result in eventual mutually assured destruction, or preclude gatherings from ever happening at all. Provocation is not an excuse for violence. While there will be repercussions no doubt for insulting a Ventrue dignitary, the Ventrue may not strike back in violence in Elysium.  Safe travel to and from Elysium is also guaranteed. If anyone causes violence in Elysium, the Sheriff and Keeper of Elysium will deal them with swiftly.

No overt/aggressive use of Disciplines - Violence is not simply defined as physical harm.  Use of Dominate, Thaumaturgy, or any similar aggressive Mental Disciplines is likewise prohibited. Even the use of Obfuscation to eavesdrop is taboo, but only punishable if caught. This Law is the most common law to be bent, or interpreted differently from Elysium to Elysium.

No mortals may attend an Elysium gathering - Kindred speak rather freely of their society in Elysium. To allow mortals at such a gathering would be an obvious breach of the Masquerade. While ghouls are permitted in some Elysium’s, it is not advisable to allow one's ghouls to learn too much of Kindred society, lest they become arrogant and assumptive.

All must respect the word of the Keeper of Elysium - The Keeper of Elysium may supplement these laws with policies particular to their Elysium at any time. While in Elysium, the Keeper's laws must be abided by. Keeper’s, who abuse such power, do not retain their position very long and fear the wrath of their Prince.
