"He bore the curse of the seed of Cain,
whereby God punished the grievous guilt of Abel's murderer.
Nor ever had Cain caused to boast of the deed of blood.
God banished him far from the fields of men:
of his blood was begotten an evil brood."

- Beowulf

DOMAIN GAME INFORMATION FROM MAY 17, 2003

Last Month’s Domain Game was held on May 17, 2003.  The theme for this game was Sir Stephane Ott’s Ren Faire complete with games, jousting and vendors. The overall winner of the Games was to receive a sword from the collection of Sir Stephane Ott.  The Lord of the Faire was of course, Sir Stephane Ott.  The Lady of the Faire was Lady Rose DeWinter.  When all were assembled, Lady Rose brought all the Ladies of the Realm and the Lords of the Realm who were competing together for the exchanging of the favors.   The reason why the ladies chose their particular favored Lord were interesting.  (Next time you come to a domain game you might asked who got what favors!)  The games then began!  The Sword Game was first with the following participants:  Cael Towers, Kage Dardan, Father Raimond, Trevor Youngston, Sir Stephane Ott, Othello Giovanni, Frankie, Prince Ace, Kent Peterson and Fredric Trell.  The overall winner after several rounds of Sword Play to the final event was Sir Stephane.  We then moved on to the Jousting Event.  Sir Stephane graciously loaned horses to all participants who did not have their own horse.  The Particpants in the Joust were Kage Dardan, Prince Ace, Sir Stephane Ott, Cael Towers, Otello Giovanni and Hakiam. OUT  One frightening incident that occurred was one of Sir Stephane’s horses appeared to have gone mad during a joust with Prince Ace and Sir Stephane Ott.  It appeared that Prince Ace was able to gain control over the horse so that the jousting could be completed. The over all winner,  again, was Sir Stephane Ott.  Congratulations to Sir Stephane for winning back his own sword!  Vendors were plentiful!  One particular vendor did Tarot readings for many folks.  It was overheard that her readings were very accurate both IN Character and. A good time was had by all who attended!   Sir Stephane requested that all look forward to next year when we would again have another Ren Faire! Near the end of the evening an assassin tried to ruin the evening by attacking our host.  They unfortunately got away.

Coterie of the Crimson Night and Dark Confluence Domain are members of the Camarilla Fan Club of White Wolf.

CAN YOU SEW?  WOULD YOU LIKE TO LEARN TO SEW?  HOW DO THEY MAKE THOSE COSTUMES?  WHAT FABRIC WOULD BE GOOD FOR THIS PATTERN?

Learn the answers to these questions at a Coterie of the Crimson Night Sewing Class.  We will be having a shopping night in July to help answer some of those questions and then we will be meeting at least once a month or more often if folks want to.  Come make your costumes for Ren Faire, Archon, ICC, 12th Night, Halloween or for any other event that you want to make a costume for.    Don’t want to make a costume?  That is ok too! Just come and make what ever it is you want to sew!  Got questions?  We got answers!  Contact Alesia Clardy for more information!
