Centurion Glass Works began with Elaine Lindhorst designing and making patio stones to match the image of her and her friends dogs. (Dalmatians, Labs and Beagles)
Today, Elaine creates stained glass window panels, mosaics, stones and sun catchers to meet the characteristics of the dog she is creating from.
All works are custom made, one of a kind works of art. From a photograph, she creates her pattern, selects the correct glass, cuts, grinds, solders, and finishes the final art piece. Assisted by her husband, they have created several fine pieces of art in several different breeds.
Shown below is the Agility High in Trial
trophy Elaine created for the Dalmatian Club of America Specialty held in
Ventura California, July 1-5, 2001 and is similar to the two created for
the DCA held in Round Rock Texas, March 11-14, 2002.
This trophy measures 11 x 14 1/2" and was
donated by Donna Truitt of Anticipation Dalmatians.
