With over 35 years of broad based, Marketing oriented engineering experience, Paul K. Lindhorst, P.E. offers his clients a rare combination of expertise, innovation and leadership.
His planning, engineering and management skills include machine design, product development process, engineering organization and R&D department management. In addition, Paul's industry knowledge of product programs, marketing strategy, and technical staffing enable him to quickly learn and understand his client's needs and work as a member of the management team to develop the best solution for the situation at hand.
During his career with Century Electric, Gould, Magnetek and finally A.O. Smith (all the same company) Paul held a number of key engineering and R&D management positions, and significantly contributed to the success of the business. As the primary developer of the first energy efficient industrial motor in the mid 1970's (Gould's E-Plus) Paul has a deep understanding of electric motor efficiency and the role of motors in the electrical demand base.
Most recently, Paul acted as the organizer and developer of the Advanced Development Center of MagneTek's electric motor and generator business. In this role, he recruited 25 of the best and brightest engineers and technicians with expertise in electrical and mechanical engineering, chemistry, software development, and automated testing. This talented team led the company into new products and new design tools for the product engineering groups.
