C. H. Gardner, seventy-four years of age, passed away Saturday morning at 10:30 at the home of his son, R.C. Gardner of Williamsburg following a four weeks illness. Besides his only brother, Mack who resides in Detroit, six children survive; E.F. Gardner of Texas, E.W. Gardner of Washington, R.C. Gardner of Williamsburg, Mrs. Frank Plemon of Cadillac, Mrs. W.D. Hollenbeck of Saginaw, Mrs. W.D. Wilson of Saginaw. Several services will be conducted at 10:30 Wednesday forenoon from the home of his son.

Funeral services for C. H. Gardner, who passed away Saturday morning at 10:30 at the home of his son, R. C. Howard of Williamsburg, were conducted at 10:30 o'clock this morning. Interment was made in the Williamsburg cemetery.

Mrs. Thelma M. Scott, wife of Cecil L. Scott, passed away Saturday morning at Saginaw General Hospital. Age 67 years. Thelma May Plemon was born Oct. 31, 1904, in Cadillac, and was married to Mr. Scott in 1924 at Faust, New York. They came to Saginaw in 1926. He survives her. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church; The Magnolia Rebekah Lodge No. 143, and has been its pianist for several years; The Odd Fellow-Rebekah Blood Donors; The Moms of America No. 158, and the Saginaw Township Retirees Club. Besides her husband, she leaves two sons and one daughter;..... two sisters, Mrs. Pearl Alderton, Campbell, Calif. and Mrs. Gratia Popple, Sylmar, Calif., also four nieces. Funeral services will take place 1 p.m. Tuesday at the Case Chapel, 409 Adams, with Rev. Clayton Turner officiating, with burial in Roselawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Friends may call at the chapel after 3 p.m. today. The Rebekah Lodge will conduct a memorial service 7:30 p.m. Monday at the Case Chapel.

Cecil L. Scott, Saginaw, Michigan, passed away at Saginaw General Hospital early Friday morning, Nov. 28, 1980, after a lengthy illness. Age 76 years. He was born June 10, 1904, in Paw Paw, MI. He married Thelma Plemon in 1925. She predeceased him in 1972. He then married Amelia Mack who survives him. He had been employed by the Chevrolet Grey Iron Plant for about 35 years retiring in 1966. He was member of the First Presbyterian Church and the Masonic Lodge No. 154. Surviving besides his wife are two sons and one daughter.... four grandchildren.... two great-grandchildren......; a step-brother, George Courtney, Boyne City, MI.
Funeral service will take place 1:00 p.m. Monday at the Case Chapel, 409 Adams St. Dr. Harold W. Kaser will officiate with burial in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Friends may call at the chapel from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Sunday. The Masonic Lodge No. 154 will conduct a memorial service at 7:30 p.m. Sunday. Those who so desire may make memorials to the American Cancer Society.
2. Gratia PLEMON (Edna Gardner) was born on 11 Jul 1909 in Cadillac, Wexford Co., Michigan. She died on 12 Oct 2007 in Oroville, Butte Co., California.
