Gardner and Pierson Families Genealogy
W elcome to my Gardner and Pierson Families Genealogy website. The focus of my research is the ancestors and descendants of my husband's paternal great grandparents, George Mack Gardner and Orma Gene Pierson. The Gardner family begins with Samuel Gardner born in New York about 1787. The Pierson family begins with Calvin Pierson, born in New York about 1811.
I feel that a great accomplishment of genealogical research is the discovery of living cousins. The purpose of this site is to provide a way for family members to make a connection with each other and, hopefully, begin closing the gaps that have separated us. What is most important to me is that family members become reacquainted with each other and begin creating ties for future generations. So please let me know if you are working on your Gardner or Pierson family genealogy!
I have tried to verify all individuals and information in my research with documentation, but I cannot promise that all facts are 100% correct. I have done my best to be as accurate as possible. I have tried not to include names of living persons who have not given me permission. I would appreciate being notified of errors and additions so I can make the necessary changes.
This website is a continual work in progress that will be updated periodically. Thanks goes to everyone who has contributed their family information along with many photos. This site would not be possible without their help and generosity.
If you see a name or family that interests you, contact me by email for additional information and Source Citations. If you would like more information on the photos or would like to print them, contact me.
Contact me regarding dead links. I want everyone to find what they are searching for.
