• Managed Point-Of-Sale systems in 272 retail stores and a staff of 10 programmers and analysts that developed and supported software and hardware systems.
• Responsible for performance reviews, personal development coaching, and salary adjustment recommendations.
• Joint design (with a 3^rd party vendor) of a Windows, touch screen based Point-Of-Sale system.  Technologies used included Visual Basic, Visual C++, Windows client, Windows NT server and SQL Server database.
• Major contributor to corporate and store client/server strategy and standards.
• Authored request for proposals for POS software and hardware. Reviewed responses, coordinated detailed presentations and made recommendations and decision on purchase there-of.
• Managed annual project planning with staffing and budgeting requirements.
