An Easy Game

Last week, I talked about where I thought the spotlight should or should not shine in wrestling at this point and time. It should shine on the tag team division more and the division should see brand new tag teams never seen before to the world of wrestling. The spotlight should see less of Triple H, and can the Big Show stand the heat the spotlight puts off. Most of you agreed with my points and I thank you all for the great feedback.

Now, it is on to new things this week. When a train approaches and intersection, the train conductor blows the big loud whistle for everyone to hear from miles away. The whistle is a warning that the train is approaching a busy intersection and all pedestrians and vehicles should prepare to yield to the train.

When everyone hears that loud whistle, it is obvious what they will see approaching them. Now that you understand that logic, you can now understand that seeing Triple H defeat Shawn Michaels for the World Heavyweight title at Armageddon is a very obvious outcome. It is ridiculously obvious Triple H will win the belt once again and all wrestling fans will be bored with another title run from “The Game”.

If I’m not mistaken, I thought a “game” was supposed to be challenging. It seems to me that Triple H’s game is way to easy. He has so much political pull in the backstage area that his “game” is as easy as the Green Bay Packers facing a High School team.

Booker T, Kane, Batista, Lance Storm, Chris Jericho, Randy Orton, and RVD are just a few wrestlers who could use a little time in the spotlight. All the men I just mentioned have great skills in the ring and have no chance of showing what they can do as long as Triple H makes the rules to his own “game”. He seems to make the rules in his favor so no one else can win. Just like a child would do when they realize they are not winning the game against their friend, they change the rules in mid-stream because “they can” and because it’s “their house”.

I know many people have analyzed the whole Triple H situation and given their two cents worth on the matter. I’m not trying to beat a dead horse when I complain about Triple H’s obvious selfish antics. I feel as though it will become a serious matter in the very near future and it will keep down the development of some talented wrestlers if something is not done to make “the game” a little more fair for everyone.

If I am wrong about this entire Triple H thing, then someone from WWE needs to email my ass and set the record straight. Not just for myself, but for every other fan and critic who has the same opinion as mine. I’m calling you out WWE. Please, email me and let’s put this debate to rest once and for all.

What is going to happen with Sean Morely, a.k.a. Val Venis? Is he going to be another wrestler whose talent is wasted on being a face on television instead of being an athlete in the squared circle? When Val Venis debut in the WWE years ago, he showed he had a tremendous talent in the ring and had the possibility of going far in the business. In recent years, his character has changed many times and he has yet to form a solid identity for himself. Maybe this new direction will be a boost to his career or maybe it will be the last nail in the coffin. I hope for his sake it is a success.

As soon as I see Al Wilson’s face on the television screen, my first reaction is to pick up the remote and turn the channel. For goodness sakes, keep that poor actor off of television and put him back to selling insurance over the telephone so he can’t be seen again. I know that sounds very harsh, but his character is probably ranked highly among the worst characters in WWF/WWE history.

As always, please feel free to email me anytime to voice to your opinions and views at Chairshots2head@yahoo.com. Also keep your eyes open for a recent interview I conducted with Hawk from Tough Enough 2. He had a lot of very interesting things to say and is in the process of forming his own identity apart from TE2.
