Charlotte Miller

Charlotte Miller was born in Roanoke, Alabama and has lived in the South her entire life. Her first novel, Behold, This Dreamer, which opens her best-selling trilogy, was released in October 2000. It has been a success story, selling out in hardcover in just six months, and is now in its third printing. Its sequel, Through A Glass, Darkly was praised by Publishers Weekly as ". . .an intriguing web of intertwined tales; those who enjoy well-crafted popular fiction set in this era and locale have much to look forward to"; and the Chattanooga Times, as "a committed writer at her best." The final volume of the trilogy, There Is A River received praised in BookPage as ". . .memorable, larger than life characters facing extraordinary odds. . .."

Charlotte has done well over 300 booksignings and other events during the course of her unprecedented book tour for the Behold, This Dreamer trilogy. This extraordinary and extreemly successful tour has spanned more than three years, covering over 120 cities in 14 states.

Charlotte still lives in Alabama, and has one son, Justin, who is twenty. One of her short stories, "An Alabama Christmas" was included in the bestselling 1999 regional collection, Ordinary & Sacred As Blood: Alabama Women Speak, and recently included in the anthology An Alabama Christmas: 20 Heartwarming Tales by Truman Capote, Helen Keller, and More. She is a member of PEN American Center, and is presently working on her fourth novel.
