Here in
the foothills of the South
Carolina Mountains, the honeybees
from my hives gather nectar from various trees, flowers and
native plants.
The result - after weeks of hard work (on their part and
mine)
is a
treasure of rich, sweet honey. I am a Certified Journeyman
Beekeeper through Clemson University's Master Beekeeper Program.
I
care about my responsibility to the bees and do everything in my power
to ensure that they are left with enough
stores to survive during the long winter months. Happy
healthy
bees = a good honey crop. My raw unfiltered honey is bottled
in
my honey house that is inspected and approved by the South Carolina
Department of Agriculture. My raw unfiltered honey is
available in 12 oz Bears, 16 oz Upside-down Jars, 22 oz
Pints and 44 oz Quarts. Honey is sold from the farm - by
appointment ONLY ! CREAMED HONEY ----- IT'S YUMMY !
Creamed Honey is available in 12 oz plastic containers. Creamed honey is 100% natural honey with no additives. All the goodness of regular honey inCreamed Honey is a fun way to eat honey that is very popular in Europe. All natural honey will crystalize (form hard sugar crystals) over time - Some in a few weeks and some types take many years. These large sharp crystals are ground down to a fine smooth texture and added back to liquid honey. After being stored at a controled temperature for several weeks, the end result is a smooth, spreadable product. Use creamed honey on your toast, mix it with peanut butter or stir it into a cup of hot tea. Less drips... less mess. 100% Raw Natural Honey - Tastes best when left on the kitchen counter - During the hot summer you may keep it in the refrigerator but refrigeration is NOT required. For best results it should be kept below 80 degrees . Dont leave Creamed Honey sitting in your hot car on a warm day... it will re-liquify but still be safe to eat !
