B'nei Noach

Literally, B'nei Noach means "the children of Noah." It is a "movement" of non-Jews who have become "God-fearers," accepting upon themselves the Seven Laws of Noah (the Covenant of Everlasting Life). "True" B'nei Noach have left the idolatry of their fathers and have turned to the God of Israel, accepting Torah meSinai and the authority of Rabbinic / Talmudic (Orthodox) Judaism.

Although it appears to be a return to the Abrahamitic faith (the "faith" that Abraham observed [with some important exceptions] prior to his bris milah - Covenant of Circumcision), it cannot to be considered as a continuation of the faith of Abraham. The Ramchal (Rabbi Chaim Luzzatto, 1707-1746 CE), in his work Derech haShem (The Way of G-d), clearly shows in II. Providence / 4. Israel & the Nations that Abraham's time period is considered as the period of roots, and once accomplished, this time period cannot be reestablished. Therefore, is not possible for modern man to attempt to recreate the belief system of Abraham's time period and call it Derech haShem.

The observance of keeping the Seven Laws, known as Noahism, is considered the world's oldest doctrine.

The families of Chavurath B'nei Noach, the Fellowship (Circle) of the Children of Noah in Fort Worth, Texas, are dedicated to disseminating the teachings of the Torah to non-Jews. Our motto is "Sharing G-d, Torah & Israel with the Nations."
