I feel a good
broodmare is worth her weight in gold. It has been my experience that good broodmares produce
good broodmares. They are the foundation of any breeding program.
I am also very excited at this time to present
to you our updated mares page! Each and every one of these girls I feel, have been
some of the best kept secrets of the industry, so we have now decided to reveal our
secret!
Please Note: All mares
on this page were pulled from the pasture and cleaned up with no conditioning, the
very same day of the the photo shoot!! All photos were taken by Jodie
French, and I have to say "Well done Jodie...they're beautiful!"
Presenting to you, the Mares of Cherokee
Rose...
ARC Chocolate

Sire: ARC Apache Dam: ARC Squeaki
As you can see from her picture this mare is breathtaking!
Even at 17 years of age, she can still stop your heart, and she's not just another
pretty face! This girl has total conformation and her broodmare abilities are second
to none. Her foals have been exceptional! What else can I say...I love
this mare and she's here to stay!

ARC Coco

Sire: ARC Banner Dam: ARC Chocolate
AMHR/AMHA. 1991 34" Red Chestnut. Coco was one of my first broodmares, and I
have never been sorry for purchasing her . She has been a producer of show quality foals
from pintos to a loud blanketed Appaloosa. I just love her deep red chestnut
coloring...she's what good broodmares are made of!!

Cherokee Rose She Has A Secret

Sire: Jandts Chief Show Tom A Hawk
Dam: ARC Chocolate
Silver Chestnut Appaloosa Mare. This filly is so
balanced and smooth. She is Chocolate's 2004 filly and I just couldn't help
myself...I just had to keep her!! She is exactly what we are striving for
in our Appy breeding program. I expect great things from this girl, and as they say
a picture is worth a thousand words, so I guess I'll let the pictures do the talking!

Valley View Simply Irresistible

Sire: LHR Tattoo'd Twizzler
Dam: Valley View
Rockin' Raquel
Dream is our only pintaloosa mare. I don't
really breed for the pintaloosa pattern but this girl is so nice!!
I thought of selling her but her last 2 buckskin fillies were stunning
so I just can't decide. She has total conformation, tail flagging
trot and a head that would make most people cry!! If your feeling
lucky and would like to purchase this mare, lets talk!! She is 36"
tall and as you can see a beautiful silver dapple.

neck, very correct, moves like broadway dancer and tons of
presence!!

topline, very correct, and knows her stuff when it comes to a heart
pounding trot!! She is 34" tall and is bred to Tom
