What is the effect of this on the Carolinas?

Here, it mainly manifests itself in rampant growth caused by a population influx from other states. Where does this flow emanate from? A large percentage of new residents are coming from New York, New Jersey and Florida --- the three highest immigration states in the eastern U. S. There is a significant secondary migration going on in this country, but the media is largely ignoring it.

There is a major exodus of American citizens from their native states as a very large number of foreign born moving in. Most Americans say they leave these areas in order to get away from things like congestion, high taxes, deteriorating schools, high crime rates and a variety of other problems that have come to make remaining in these areas unacceptable to them. They often say they leave in order to find a better "quality of life." These general terms tend to mask the more specific underlying causes. It can be shown that many of the afore-mentioned problems are closely associated with mass immigration. It is the future we must worry about, not the past. Our nation's population growth is unacceptably high and this is largely due to immigration levels that are unacceptably high.

Immigration laws are federal laws and must be changed at the national level, by Congress. Americans from all states must work together to accomplish this by convincing their congressmen that this is an important issue.
