Mythology
We will begin our study with Edith Hamilton's Mythology; this academic text provides an overview of the Greek and Norse myths that have provided inspiration for many artists and authors throughout time. Our focus will be on building a working knowledge of the characters, stories and themes that students will then find referenced in texts that they read and view for the rest of their lives. We will supplement our book readings with some internet research to familiarize ourselves with some non-western mythologies as well.

Where did you go wrong when answering questions? What could you do better when answering questions? For EC , write a brief (1 paragraph) explanation of what kinds of mistakes you've made in the past and how you will improve the next time you have to answer questions . |
