Saturday April 26 "Warbler Walk" Mt.Aetna trailhead. 8am. Join Audubon members to observe spring migrating birds on their way north.  Led by Stan Kolata.
Sunday May 4 "Wildflower Walk" Mt.Aetna trailhead. 1:30pm. Following the Spring Gathering picnic. A walk to identify spring wildflowers along the trail. Lead by Roy Boyle.

Sunday June 8 "Stream Class" Williamsburg trailhead. 2pm. Identify stream creatures that live in the river as indicators of water quality.  Wear shoes and clothing that can get wet!  Led by Heidi Boyle.

Saturday July 12 "Possum Ride I" Williamsburg trailhead. 8pm. Enjoy the sights and sounds of the late evening as a full moon rises. You will be amazed at the wildlife that comes out as the sun goes down. Bring a flashlight and your bike light.

Sunday July 13 "Historic Bike Ride" Williamsburg trailhead. 2pm. A National Park Service Ranger from the Allegheny Portage Railroad will lead a ride to point out historic artifacts and places along the trail and how they relate to Pennsylvania's transportation history. Reservations required. 814-886-6150.

Sunday September 14 "Open House" Grannas Station. 2pm. Rails to Trails members will host an open house to show the renovated Grannas Station and lead groups along the new Canoe Creek extension of the trail.

Saturday October 11 "Possum Ride II" Williamsburg trailhead. 6pm. Another full moon ride. Enjoy the sounds and smells of the fall season.  Bring a flashlight and your bike light.

Sunday October 19 "Fall Foliage Hike" Alfarata trailhead. 2pm. The peak week for leaves and colors. Enjoy the day and learn why the leaves are so beautiful.  Lead by Dave Despot, Research Assistant - Penn State.
