Cat in the Hat, Dr. Seuss Each year we celebrate Dr. Seuss's birthday. We have cake and ice cream and play games. Our local library sponsors a Dr. Seuss month each March and we go all dressed for the occasion. We go once a week for special activities like breakfast with Seuss, crafts and games and story time. Can you tell Cindi was at the sewing machine again? We love having her sew for us. When she sews we get to try on our costumes over and over whenever we want. We went to the library three times so we each got a chance to wear both the Cat in the Hat and Thing 1 or thing 2 costumes.

Halloween We love Halloween.  We bring our costumes and get dressed up for a Halloween party. We play Halloween BINGO, tossing games and sometimes have a pinata'.

Pumpkins On Parade  Sometimes we enter the St. Johns Pumpkins On Parade Contest. One year we made Mr. Potato Head Pumpkins we won 1st place. We all got free McDonalds certificates and our daycare got a blue ribbon. Another year we did pumpkin monster. We have also entered scarecrows.
