Carnival
Every few years we have a family carnival on a Friday evening. All of the families bring a dish to pass and after we have a cookout, the children get 20 free carnival tickets for the games. After you have used your tickets you cash in your winnings at the prize booth. We also do family fun relays and games. We have 20 carnival games in all. Our next carnival will be in the summer of 2010 and I will be able to add photos of the new games we have built over the past few years.

Cinco De Mayo Fiesta
Enjoy the photos of our Cinco De Mayo Fiesta. We spent three weeks preparing for this event; we learned about the Mexican culture and the children of Mexico; we made yarn pictures, bean pictures, and paper mache maracas. We also learned Cinco De Mayo songs and games.
Mexican market, visiting neighbors in our ponchos and sombreros, story telling time, CINCO (BINGO)
We all made our own maracas, singing and dancing, shopping at the market, place the sombrero on the donkey. Mexican fiesta, Mexican siesta!
