A new Clinton County, Illinois history and family biography book is in the making! Along with the history section, this new book will also contain an expanded CLUB/ORGANIZATION section of the vital Clinton County clubs and organizations as recorded in 2004 for future generations to read.
As a significant member of the county's club/organization community, you will want to put the history of your club/organization in print for future generations and historians to enjoy. All county club/organizations are invited to submit their written history for prominent display in the professionally designed business history section. Imagine the prestige that will be rendered to your club/organization by including it in this PERMANENT RECORD of Clinton County. It is expected that Clinton County Illinois: History and Families will be over 200 pages when finished. It will be 8 1/2" X 11" and hard bound with a full color cover. Only high quality, acid-free paper will be used for excellent photo reproduction.
In writing your club/organization history, include any information you feel pertinent: the date your club/organization was started, location (s), who founded the club/organization, growth, etc. and a historic and current photo of your club/organization (if possible). For a full page, you will want to submit approximately 800 words with no more than two photos. For a half page history, you will want to submit approximately 300 words with not more than one photo. All business pages are being sold for $225.00 for a full page, $175.00 for a half page and $125.00 for a quarter page. Please submit all material and money to the address below. A complimentary copy of the book is included with any patron space purchased.
